รอกันมานานกับ Microsoft Whiteboard ซึ่งเป็น Digital Whiteboard app ที่สะดวกสุดกับการเขียนด้วยปากกาหรือ Mouse ธรรมดาก็ได้ โดย Microsoft ประกาศแล้วว่า Microsoft Whiteboard จะเปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการ (General Availability)ในไม่อีกกี่เดือนข้างหน้านี้

โดยรายละเอียดของ Microsoft Whiteboard นั้นทาง Microsoft ได้สรุปคำนิยามไว้คร่าวๆ ดังนี้

Microsoft Whiteboard is a freeform digital canvas where people, ideas, and content can come together for creative collaboration. The app is built for anyone who engages in creative, freeform thinking before getting to their final output. It's designed for teams that need to ideate, iterate, and work together both in person and remotely, and across multiple devices.

โดยสำหรับ Microsoft 365 User เองนั้นจะพบว่ามี on/off switch สำหรับเปิดใช้งานแอพนี้อยู่ใน Organization ของตนเอง ซึ่งปัจจุบัน Preview switch จะตั้งเป็น off โดย default ครับ

แต่ใน summer นี้ switch นี้จะเปิดเป็น on โดย default แล้วล่ะครับ ส่วนในอนาคต (summer นี้อีกเช่นกัน) จะมีการอัพเดทเวอร์ชั่นล่าสุดของ Whiteboard บน Windows 10 และดาวน์โหลดจาก Windows Store ได้ด้วย

ข้อยกเว้นในการ roll-out ครั้งนี้มีน้อยมากครับ จะมีเฉพาะ Microsoft 365 User ใน ภาค Government, GCC, DoD, และ Microsoft 365 Germany เท่านั้นที่ไม่ได้รับการอัพเดทนี้ แปลว่าในไทยใช้ได้แน่นอน

ทุกคนสามารถเข้าไปเช็คดูได้ที่ Microsoft 365 Admin center \ Settings \ Services & add-ins \ Whiteboard และเปิดดูว่า Turn on หรือ Off ในส่วนของ Whiteboard สำหรับทั้ง organization ได้ครับ
