โดยไม่ต้องสมัคร Microsoft 365 หรือใช้ Office เหมือนแต่ก่อน
ไมโครซอฟท์ประกาศการเปลี่ยนแปลงของแอป Microsoft Outlook for macOS
จากเดิมผู้ที่ใช้งานต้อมสมัครใช้ Microsoft 365 หรือมีไลเซนส์ Office แต่จากนี้ไม่ต้องมีเงื่อนไขดังกล่าวแล้ว จึงรองรับผู้ใช้งานฟรีทั่วไปทุกคนด้วย
Outlook for Mac นอกจากรองรับอีเมล Outlook.com แล้ว ยังรองรับการทำงานร่วมกับอีเมลอื่นทั้ง Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo และอีเมลอื่นที่รองรับ IMAP
ไมโครซอฟท์ ยกเครื่อง Outlook for Mac มาตั้งแต่ปี 2020 รองรับดีไซน์ใหม่ให้เข้ากับ macOS รุ่นใหม่ รวมทั้งรองรับคุณสมบัติพื้นฐานใหม่ ๆ
